Hi all,

Sorry it's been such a while, but we've had some great bands and great fun over the past couple of months, make sure you don't miss out this weekend with live music from two old favourites RIFF RAFF on Friday and THE CLINTS on Saturday.

We'd also like to let you all know that The Alley, Lancaster, has finally opened it's doors, after months of hard work its ready for action. Everyones welcome and we have live music from Helvelyn 2 this Saturday night.

Well the sun was out and those of you who were witnessed more great live music at The Bath this weekend. CATDOG gave a stunning debut performance on Friday night and TFL returned with a great show of classuic rock on Saturday. If you missed out make sure you check out the gig guide for the return of both these bands.

We hope the sun keeps shining but even if it doesn't the live music carries on here, with bands Friday and Saturday this week and don't miss the return of John Michael on Sunday, let's show him a good time!

Well after a weekend of live music we now seem to have overcome the problems we've recently had with last minute band cancellations!

A big thanks to HARE OF THE DOG for helping this to happen stepping in on Monday to fill the vacant Friday night slot, and they didn't dissapoint, what a performance they gave!! I'm sure everyone that was in to see them would agree with that statement!

The live music continued on Saturday with the return of HELVELYN 2, who gave another great show of classic rock, even if the final set had to be cut short due to the drummer hurting his arm (we send our apologies for this), but they will be back!

Thanks to everyone who was here this bank holiday weekend, those from near and far!!,
get yourselves down this coming weekend it should be another classic with the return of HOOKER and the awaited debut here of BBGM, an experienced and talented band.

Well we've promised to have live music returning on Friday nights, so lets see you all here for HARE OF THE DOG!

It's a change to the advertised line-up but their a great band and stepped in to help out yesterday, and are actually a band we wanted to gig here.

They play rock covers from the likes of Free, Bad Company, UFO, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Dio, ZZ Top, Poison, Judas Priest, Gary Moore, Van Halen and many more.

They are a band that believe in having fun, just like the rest of us, and have heard great things about us here at The Bath, so let's show them a great time!

Well were sorry to have to say that once again we have been let down, Rewind cancelled their gig tonight at the last minute and despite our best efforts we have been unable to find a replacement at such short notice.
We as much as you love our live music and want it all weekend, but the powers to be seem against us at the moment. However we'll still have great music all night and the live music carries on tomo with Fugitive and John Michael on Sunday so get yourselves down for a great time,

Well once again we were left with one live band this weekend, hopefully for the very last time, with the bands for the forthcoming weeks confirmed and ready to go, and more live music on a Sunday coming very soon!!

5th Element were as impressive as the first time they gigged here with a great all round entertaining performance on Saturday night that brought eveybody to their feet!! If you missed out make sure you catch them next time round.

This weekend we have a triple header with locally based Rewind on Friday night, Fugitive Saturday night and John Michael on Sunday afternoon, a weekend not too be missed!!

Well left without a band on Friday night, althoug we still all enjoyed the music, it was down to DAKOTA to provide the live music last weekend, and they didn't let us down, even if their usual singer did! You would have struggled to notice, by their usual great performance, that the lead singer had actually been drafted in just a few hours before the gig!

It was a fantastic night enjoyed by all and we'd all like to thank Dakota for providing such great entertainment.

Dutch Invasion

Hi all,

Well many of you were here to witness a great tribute to Iron Maiden on Friday night by Dutch band Somewhere on Stage. It was a great performance by the band who are currently on a week's long tour of the UK and we would like to thank them for making the long journey here and wish them luck, hopefully we'll see them again!
Saturday night brought us TFL, and a great show of classic rock, they'll be back in the near future.

On a more disapointing note, True Beat have had to cancel their gig here on Friday, due to a problem within the band, however we are trying hard to replace them. We have CLASSIC PUNK on Saturday night from THE CHEAPSKATES, a great band who are making a return here, so don't miss out!

Well I think we can all agree that we heard live music from two amazing bands this weekend and both with performances to match!

Local band MASSIVE WAGONS brought a great crowd in on Friday night to hear their hard rock covers. A young band which are definitely something to look out for, and will be back in the near future, look out for them appearing on the gig guide in the future.

Saturday night went with a bang as many came to see UNCLE ROTTER give their usual unique performance, a band like no other we have here. There individual lyrics mix well with the gory outfits, and left everyone fixated by their every move. For those of you who asked on the night when they'll be back, or for those of you who missed it, check out the pictures, and we'll all see them again on the 19th June!

Well we have to say that it was a fairly quiet weekend for us, despite good performances from Ozbidian and Dr Rox. All that were here enjoyed the live rock performances from both bands, it's just a shame that some of you missed out!

With two more great bands lined up for this weekend lets see if we can once again pack the place and show them we know how to rock. Both bands are here for their second time around, with local band Massive Wagons here on Friday night and the awaited return of Uncle Rotter on Saturday night, if you missed either band last time you don't want to miss them again, both will give you a great night to remember!

Hi all

Well it was good too see those familar faces again this weekend and we were happy to welcome the many new faces we saw over the week, hope everyone enjoyed it all.

The Clints put in a great classic rock performance, Hooker had the place rocking, and young and old alike were dancing to the sound of John Michael, look out on the gig guide for their return, and check out the many other bands due to come here over the coming months.

Hi all,

Well what a weekend we had, I.C.O.N played their own original tunes with great effect on Friday night and local band The Bottlenecks packed the place on Saturday. We'd like to thank all the customers on Saturday for their patience in being served, we got a bit overwhelmed at times!! Sorry about that. We'd like to say a special thanks to Nic and Claire for stepping in behind the bar and giving us a hand.

All that being said we feel a good weekend was had by all, the pictures seem to show that, take a look, and we hope to see you all again this weekend for some more live classic rock, The Clints on Friday and Hooker on Saturday, promises to be another good one, lets see if we can pack the place again!!

Another amazing weekend here at the bath.

Friday night saw great local band Massive Wagons playing a mix of quality rock covers, alongside some of there own material.

Saturday night brought us the great sounds of another local band Sold To The Sky, we were blown away by the great blend of classic rock & indie rock.

Sunday afternoon we had a real treat, The Section played us there rendition of classic blues rock.

Well the weekend was great don't know about the rest of you but we're still trying to recover! Music was great, atmosphere was amazing and the best of all I now have a name. For those of you who haven't heard some crazy head banger has named me 'Undead Ted' and you'll be hearing alot more from me now. Well what is new, there has been a few changes in the house, none of which will affect any of you lovely people.

We are putting a team together for the morecambe and district pool league, which is sponsered by crew johns (beverage suppliers), the new season will begin mid september.

Good look to all the bath buddies that sign up to play for The Bath.

As some of you may know we have only been able to provide live music on either a fri or sat night, hopefully this will change.

Next weekend we will bring you live music from The Bath on both fri and sat nights, we will be aiming to do this on a more regular basis, so look out for that.

We have had many visitors over the last few weeks from various members of the motorcycling community, some of them have traveled far and wide to come and see us, hope to see them all again soon. So a big hello and thankyou to our new friends from The Cripple Club who came all the way from Bath to see us at The Bath, look out for pics etc, as they will be posted on our website very shotly. Also a big hello to morecambe bay classic bike club who have taken the time to come down to The Bath and see what its all about.

We would also like to say a big thanks to the various members of The National Chopper Club and members of NABD, it has been a pleasure to enjoy our hospitality with you guys, we hope to see a lot more ofyou in the future.

So keep an eye out for details as it will be advertised on local radio, tv, various forms of media.

There will be 6 live bands and DJ's playing to 500 peole in the car park behind the bath, where the regular outdoor sunday market is held.

Tickets for this event will go on sale by the end of next week via our website, also there will be some tickets kept back for those that dont have internet, theese can be purchased by popping in to The Bath.

OH YEAH, What a great night, the 1st live music event at the new look Bath happened last night,
We had a open mic / jam session, wow what a load of fun it was.
Lots of people haveing alot of fun in a great atmosphere.

For all who did not make, well, i guess you missed out on a real entertainment treat.
But never fear, for those people that weren't here, lucky for you that the music always is.

We have provided all you Bath time lovers with live music every weekend.

Good evening guys and girls, just to let you all know that here at The Bath we are serving a special fathers day rate,

THE MASCOT/LOGO NAMING COMPETITION

Our competition to name the mystery rider on our new logo is now underway,

Yes guys and gals, you lovely people will have a chance to name our mascot.

All you have to do is buy a ticket from behind the bar right here at the bath, write your choice for the mascot's name in the space provided on the front of the ticket and your name, address and phone number on the reverse, your vote will then be posted into the ballot box.
Each ticket only costs £1.

The voting will close on Friday 28th August, and then will be announced on Saturday 29th August.

So one ticket will be drawn from the ballot box after a realy goods shake,

One of our lucky customers will have the honour of naming our mascot, the name picked will be the mystery riders name forever, Also the owner of the winning ticket will also win a pair of tickets to see MOTORHEAD live at Manchester Apollo.

UP AND RUNNING

Yes folks, we are up and running in every sense of the words.

Three and half weeks in and we are getting bigger and better every day, many new faces, some nice to look at and some not so, but hey we at the bath love everyone.

So wots new, well, for those that dont no, we've spent the last week getting the new website up and running, glad to say its done and online, theres a few changes to be made and alot of things to be added so please keep an eye on it.
THE TAP END will keep everyone informed about what has happened and is going to happen in the future.

Please check out the gig guide on a regular basis as we have some great up and coming bands playing in the near future, alot of which are local so you may well be friends with them already. Looking forward to that.
The first major thing being hosted here at THE BATH is the midsummers bash, being held in honour of the landladys birthday.
There will be 3 bands playing live all on the same night, inc:- LEXICO and 2 guest bands. So all in all, a new rock pub in morecambe, playing live bands on the weekend in a great atmosphere and prices that have just been dropped, what could be better than that.

Yes guys and gals, the TT races have started and can't we tell.

yes we had our first wave of bikers traveling to the TT's in the isle of man coming through morecambe today all the way from Holland. They came, they saw and they promised that they were coming back with there friends on the way back home.
